Femto LASIK

I am going to ask you questions on behalf of my sister, Sutiya Jiewchaloemmit.

Her Preoperative

Myopia -5.25 & -5.75 , Astigmatism slightly , Master Eye - Right

She is wearing contact lens.

She is a clay shooter and will attend London Olympic Games on 29 July 2012 for Thailand.

She would definitely go for eye surgery to correct her eyes problem because she has problem seeing the target on certain condition such as windy.

She is interested in FemtoLASIK because it is the latest technology. She wants to hear a word from doctor to gaurantee the success of the operation. Under FemtoLASIK, how long is recovery period?

Another minor concern is recovery which may involve in steroid. Is there alternative medication non-steroid? However, if steroid is needed, your prescription will work fine.

Thank you for interest in our latest state of the art FemtoLasik. Regarding your sister eye condition it's generally very high success by this Femto Lasik. However the more detail we get from eye examination the more accuracy of success rate prediction will be. Regarding steroid use post operation we will use only a short period, 5-7 days for decreasing inflammation and this shouldn't be any problem to the eye.
