All LASIK candidates must be 18 years or older. It's recommended to wait until the eyes have reached maturity and stability for optimal and lasting results

An individual without corneal disease, particularly keratoconus or thin cornea, or any condition that may impede wound healing

Pregnant women are ineligible for LASIK treatment due to hormonal fluctuations and body changes

Patients over 40 may still require reading glasses despite undergoing full correction for nearsightedness

Individuals with a thorough grasp of LASIK surgery benefits and potential side effects, and who hold realistic expectations for the results

Before your preoperative examination, please ensure: Soft contact lenses are removed 3 days prior to your appointment. Hard contact lenses are removed 7 days prior to your appointment.

Due to the blurry vision that results after the dilatation of the eyes, it is recommended that the patient be accompanied by a relative or close friend. Dilation because the eyes to become extremely light sensitive and the patient might not be able to drive a vehicle after dilating the pupil.

Bring a pair of sun glasses is recommended.

Avoid applying makeup, particularly near the eyes

Avoid the use of sprays and perfumes, as they may interfere with laser equipment during procedures

If feasible, wear a shirt with front buttons. Prior to the appointment, ensure to bathe and tidy hair thoroughly

การยิง YAG เลเซอร์ เพื่อเปิดรูขนาดเล็กๆ บริเวณ ด้านข้างของม่านตา เพื่อเตรียมสภาพตาให้เหมาะสมและป้องกันความดันภายในตาสูงขึ้นภายหลังการใส่เลนส์ ผู้เข้ารับการรักษาควรได้รับการยิง YAG เลเซอร์ก่อน เข้ารับการรักษาประมาณ 2 สัปดาห์

การเข้ารับการรักษาสายตาด้วยวิธีเลนส์เสริม ซึ่งมีขั้นตอนในการรักษา ดังนี้

เจ้าหน้าที่จะทำการหยอดยาขยายม่านตา และยาชา
แพทย์จะเปิดช่องเล็กๆ ประมาณ 3 มิลลิเมตรบริเวณขอบของกระจกตา เพื่อเป็นช่องทางในการใส่เลนส์เสริมเข้าไปดวงตา โดยไม่ต้องมีการเย็บแผลจะสมานตัวได้อย่างรวดเร็ว เลนส์ที่ถูกใส่เข้าไปจะค่อยๆ คลี่ตัวออก และคงอยู่ในลูกตา โดยไม่สามารถมองเห็นได้ด้วยตาเปล่า
แพทย์จะให้ยาลดความดันลูกตา และนัดมาตรวจเพื่อติดตามผลการรักษาในวันรุ่งขึ้น

การรักษาสายตาด้วยวิธีเลนส์เสริมใช้เวลาประมาณ 15-20 นาที จากนั้นผู้เข้ารับการรักษาสามารถกลับไปพักผ่อนที่บ้าน ทั้งนี้ โดยปกติแล้วแพทย์จะทำการรักษาทีละตา โดยรอให้แผลข้างหนึ่งหายเป็นปกติก่อน จึงจะทำการรักษาในตาอีกข้างหนึ่ง ส่วนใหญ่แล้วจะห่างกันประมาณ 1 สัปดาห์

Post-treatment guidelines following vision correction with lens augmentation

Avoid rubbing your eyes forcefully to prevent any impact or trauma.
Be cautious not to let water enter your eyes for at least 2 weeks. Avoid washing your face during this time. If you need to clean your face, use a clean damp cloth to gently wipe it.
Refrain from using makeup around the eyes for 2 weeks.
Avoid areas with dust or cigarette smoke, and always wear sunglasses when outdoors to protect your eyes from particles and ensure comfort.
Avoid wearing tight-fitting shirts, such as tight-necked T-shirts, for 2 weeks, as they may affect the eye area. Remove or put on shirts gently during this time.
Administer prescribed eye drops and medication strictly as instructed by your doctor.
Avoid swimming for 1 month.
Attend follow-up appointments as scheduled by your doctor to monitor treatment progress.

Follow-up examinations to monitor treatment progress

Typically, after undergoing treatment with lens augmentation, your doctor will schedule follow-up appointments to monitor your progress at various intervals: 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 1 year, and 2 years (or as advised by your doctor). Afterward, Laser Vision recommends regular eye health check-ups annually to ensure the ongoing well-being of your eyes.
